[Review] Chapter 3: the Lair of the Leviathan

Threepwuss is back in Telltale Games’ newest edition of Tales of Monkey Island. The Lair of the Leviathan is chock full of the answers that left you frothing at the mouth when the Siege of Spinner Cay wrapped up. It marks the return of a familiar face…err…skull and introduces some new puzzle types. Join Guybrush in the belly of the manatee on his quest to become a real boy and find La Esponja Grande. Behemoth, DLC, Free…..what else is there to say?
Posted by Scratch in Arcade Feed, Contests, I thought this was cool on September 29, 2009
The mayor of Behemoth Town has announced that they are kicking it into top gear with their Necromantic DLC giveaway. Now is the time where you head over to the dev blog and find out how you can become a Necromantic DLC owner. They have around 2000 codes to give away, so there are plenty of chances to win. Not many companies take the time to do this on such a large scale so be sure to take advantage of it. I’ll give you head start…..follow them on twitter.
Also you can check out our experience in the game. There’s a code at the end of it and I never recieved a message from anyone saying they got it. Who knows maybe it still works. Let us know if you get it.

Need for Speed Shift Demo coming October 1
Have you been like me, wanting to try out EA’s new highly rated game but don’t feel like renting or buying the game right now? Well on October 1st, the demo that has reached the PC will also be coming out for both the Xbox 360 and the PS3. According to EA, “The demo gives players a chance to see for themselves just how SHIFT delivers on the Need for Speed promise of speed, adrenaline and precision racing.”
In the demo there will be five cars to chose from when racing. The cars to chose from will be…
1. BMW M3 (E46)
2. 2008 Dodge Viper SRT10
3. 2006 Lotus Elise 111R
4. 2008 Nissan GT-R
5. 2006 Pagani Zonda F (unlockable)
If you have a PC that can run the game, be sure to check out needforspeed.com to try out the demo, otherwise go to the Xbox Live Marketplace on October 1st to download the demo.

CosPlay at TGS 2009

One of my favorite things about the Tokyo Game Show is all the pictures from the cos-play. After rifling through a bunch of pics it looks like this year didn’t disapoint! Dude, think of how many hours were put into finding that perfect pose and how many posing jam sessions there were. Check out some of the pics at these sites:
Also, it appears there are written rules when taking pics of the cos players. One of the rules is just normal comon sense if you are not socially inept, asking permission.
- “Photography or filming near the ailes is prohibited.”
- “You must obtain persmission from the subject(s) before taking photographs or filming. Also, all photography and filming must be done with a wall in the background so as to avoid including other people in your shots.”
- “You will be asked to stop taking photographs or filming if staff judges it is causing inconvenience to others.”

Fun at the ODST event!

Just a few quick pics of the ODST event in Seattle at the EMP. Crazy Echo covered the line and event, I am covering the cool peeps I hung with!
On a side note. I love my G1! It is so easy to snap pics with it (except in the dark) and the pics don’t come out too bad either!
