Developer: DICE

Battlefield 1943, what a great game! For only $15 you get an amazing multiplayer game that almost never gets old. This is probably one of the only games that I have played longer than 72 hours. So if you are into first person shooters and like the Battlefield games, I highly suggest buying this game. Here are some things that make this game great.
- Three maps for conquest mode

- Two teams (US & Japan)
- Jeeps, planes, boats and tanks
- Up to 24 player games
- Air superiority mode
- Squads
- Helpful tutorial
- Easy to pick up controls
What makes this different from other games? No camping, if you try to camp the building you’re in will most likely be blown into pieces. The maps are enormous, with brilliantly placed vehicles and sniper towers.
Let’s talk about vehicles. Jeeps hold three people and get you where you want fast. Tanks are extremely powerful and can destroy a jeep in one shot with it’s cannon. The tanks can hold two people. The planes can wipe out a tank with only one bomb although it’s extremly hard to master.
Now lets talk about the bombers. They are extremely powerful and can flatten a base. You start a bomb run by going into a certain bunker. After you enter the bunker you have control of three bombers that release their bombs simultaneously at your command. But enemy fighters and AA guns can destroy the fighters so be careful.
Overall the game is great except it has some major lag issues.
Another DS?
Well, once again Nintendo announced that they’re going to have yet another DS. Now lets think about this. Here’s the DS family.
- Nintendo DS
- Nintendo DS Lite
- Nintendo DSi
- Nintendo DSi XL
Four family members. They all have double screens, yes but anybody can do that! So what seems to be big right now? That would be 3D stuff right? So that’s exactly what they are doing. But who in the world likes 3D glasses? Well, I admit I like them but I don’t like using them for 3D. Anyways, the new DS won’t need any 3D glasses!
Now let’s just think about this a little bit more. Name a 3D gaming system. Can’t think of one can you? So buisness wise, this is going to sell no matter what because it’s new and there is nothing like it. Think about that, is this going to be the biggest mobile gaming system in terms of sales? I predict exactly that.
Am I going to buy the 3D DS? Yes, I still have a DS Lite and I’ve been waiting for somthing new and innovative came out to upgrade.
So let’s break this down, why is this good?
- It’s doing something before any other gaming system.
- Nintendo will be selling hardware like crazy.
- This will lead other companies like Sony and Apple to try to make something better.
Over all this is a win win situation for gamers and Nintendo. Now lets hope they don’t mess up!
What do I do?
Unfortunately problems can happen when we play games, but what do you do? Well, Activision and Xbox do a great job of helping for all issues. But how can you contact them?
