It is now easier to hack the “unhackable” PS3. So what does this mean? Well obviously some people are going to hack the PS3, there’s nothing stopping that. Since people are going to be able to hack the PS3, it makes it easier for piracy to occur. Who cares, right? W-R-O-N-G WRONG, it effects you more than you think. This applies for any other gaming platforms, for example, the PC.

Now, people who pirate games I can’t stand. It’s one of the worst things any gamer could ever do. When gamers pirate, they’re stabbing themselves in the back. For example, if you and your buddies steal some hotdogs from a hotdog stand the hotdog person might not make any profit. So next time you and your buddies want a hotdog, the hotdog person won’t be there because he didn’t make enough money to keep the stand going. It’s the same with games too, except games deal with a lot more money. so if say 60,000 games are pirated there may not be a sequel because their sales were bad because of all the stolen games. It also causes a lot of talented people to lose their job. Is that worth paying nothing for a game?

So what can we learn about this? Don’t pirate games because it’ll come back to hurt you. Plus, I’ll be very cross.
