Crazy’s Adventure: Webby41

It’s that time of year again. I made a trip to the UK to meet one of my Xbox friends for the first time. This trip was to meet my eldest friend, 70 years old, Webby41.

I knew Webby online through his son-in-law; Whom I met on last year’s Xbox friend meet up tour.

I met Webby in the South of London on the Isle of Dogs.

Webby took me on a tour of his old stomping grounds in London. It was hilarious recording the old man shouting at cabs.

We went to his favorite Pie & Mash shoppe. Beef Pie covered in parsley sauce.

Then it was off to the Greenwich Time Museum.

Can’t be ice cream on a hot July day.

With a stunning view of London.

Road trip Webby’s house to the Eastern most town in the UK.

Mr. & Mrs. Webby were such amazing host.

Woo Hoo! It has arrived!

Kinect is finally here. I have been waiting forever to talk about and now I finally can! I am picking up YourShape Fitness Evolved tomorrow… so I will post some reviews of it after I mess with it a bit.

p.s.  November is always such an awesome time for gaming memories… LIVE first went public in November, GoW came out in November… and most importantly, (though it isn’t technically a gaming moment)  it’s my b-day in a month!

Don’t Rage Quit Comic Jumper

twisted-pixel-a-1  If you’ve played Comic Jumper, you know how hard the game is. If you’re like me you have probably had a part in the game where you died repeatedly for what seems like an infinite amount of times. But don’t give up the game before you even give yourself to beat the second issue.

The skill will come with time, you may have to try a certain part over and over again but it’ll come. For example, the first time I played the the third level I died for what seemed like a million times. But after I beat the Manga comics I went back, tryed it and never died and got over $30,000.  One tip I have is only use the triggers for shooting and jumping, this keeps your thumbs free so you can aim, shoot and jump at the same time. Get used to it because it’s very important in the later issues. Also, upgrade and buy as much bonuses as you can get. The bonuses are not only hilarious, they actually add a percentage of your score at the end of the level to your score so you get lots of MONIES! The more monies the better right?

So please don’t give up, you’ll beat the part of the game you’re on eventually. It’s a great game, seriously, don’t rage quit. Be a REAL gamer. I’ll say it agian, don’t give up.

Don’t Pirate, It’s NOT Cool.

Skull-and-crossbones-pira-002 It is now easier to hack the “unhackable” PS3. So what does this mean? Well obviously some people are going to hack the PS3, there’s nothing stopping that. Since people are going to be able to hack the PS3, it makes it easier for piracy to occur. Who cares, right? W-R-O-N-G WRONG, it effects you more than you think. This applies for any other gaming platforms, for example, the PC.

Now, people who pirate games I can’t stand. It’s one of the worst things any gamer could ever do. When gamers pirate, they’re stabbing themselves in the back. For example, if you and your buddies steal some hotdogs from a hotdog stand the hotdog person might not make any profit. So next time you and your buddies want a hotdog, the hotdog person won’t be there because he didn’t make enough money to keep the stand going. It’s the same with games too, except games deal with a lot more money. so if say 60,000 games are pirated there may not be a sequel because their sales were bad because of all the stolen games. It also causes a lot of talented people to lose their job. Is that worth paying nothing for a game?

So what can we learn about this? Don’t pirate games because it’ll come back to hurt you. Plus, I’ll be very cross.

The Force Unleashed II Pre-Order Packs

If you are like myself and completely hyped up for the release of The Force Unleashed II, the ultimate choice is up to you. You must choose carefully my Padawans. Join the Dark Side you can, but only you can decide your fate.

Maulkiller Pack Pre-Order from Gamestop:

  • MaulkillerExclusive Character: Maulkiller – In the cloning facilities of Kamino, Darth Vader created a warrior of unparalleled strength and power by combining the genetic material of Darth Maul, former apprentice of Sith Lord Darth Sidious, with his own apprentice, Starkiller. The resulting aberrant clone possessed traits from both warriors, but the crude fusion of two disparate Force users quickly produced physical and mental instabilities that led to the unfortunate clone’s destruction. For a brief time he struck fear into the hearts of all who faced him, even Lord Vader himself.
  • Exclusive Maulkiller Silver Saber Crystal – The perfect compliment to Maulkiller’s appearance, the silver crystal make his dual lightsabers look like an extension of the silver Zabrac styled tattoos that cover his body and face. This powerful crystal allows Maulkiller to consume less Force Energy so he can devastate his enemies.
  • Two Challenge Levels Pre-Order from Amazon.com:

  • StarkillerExclusive Challenge: The Mystical Swamps of Dagobah – Explore the mystical swamps of Dagobah in this exclusive challenge. The setting for this challenge is an abstract version of the Dagobah level in the game. Yoda is testing your skills with this dreamlike space. Use Force Grip to lift objects out of the swampy depths of the surface of Dagobah and use them to navigate to your goal. The faster you can do this the more your rewards will be. Beware! Danger lurks just below the smoky surface of the water. The stone pillars you Force Grip and lift out of the murky waters aren’t stable and can collapse at any time, the water is toxic too – wait too long on a platform and suffer the consequences.
  • Exclusive Challenge: Defend “The Core” - Defend “The Core” by using all your Force Powers and expertise with the lightsaber for as long as you can. Survive for more than 1 minute to complete the challenge. Mastering this challenge could take much longer. Score bonuses are awarded for surviving for longer and killing enemies with impunity.
