Win a Hummer!
Posted by Kiki Lewis in Contests, I thought this was cool, PAX, Xbox on August 23, 2010
Well, okay, maybe not a full size one.. and definitely not one of the type you nasty minded peeps were thinking of, but something just as cool!
Built by Chris “Omega” Ruble from Gamer-Grafix.com, the Xbox 360 has been modified to resemble a modern day military humvee, and was inspired by Fun For Our Troops.
The Xbox 360, enclosed within the Hummer’s shell, is entirely functional and features its own built in monitor, as well as a 250 GB Hard Drive. Chris has fused his passion for supporting the troops with his love of art and video gaming to shape one of his most impressive pieces of work to date.
Halo: Reach Multimeda Madness!
Posted by Bogeh in Conventions, News, Xbox on July 22, 2010
Halo fans, rejoice with me in celebrating all the awesomeness that Bungie released today!
First off, take a look at the unboxing of both the Limited Edition and Legendary Edition of Halo: Reach…followed by the unveiling of a Reach themed Xbox 360! Available September 14th for $399, the Xbox 360 Limited Edition Reach Bundle includes:
- All features of the New Xbox 360 (250 GB HDD, built-in Wi-fi, etc.)
- Limited Edition Reach themed wireless controllers
- Standard Edition of Halo: Reach
If you want to check out some hi-res images of the Reach console, head over to Major Nelsons’s flickr account and check them out. Hawtness, for sure!
Now, me introduce to you Forge World. Remember when Bungie revealed Blood Gulch and “outside the canyon”? Well, you probably weren’t expecting to go this far out of the canyon. Forge 2.0 is without a doubt, the most badass feature that any developer has come up with for the 360.
And lastly, thirty-eight new screenshots of Firefight Versus and Forge World are hot off the press for you drool over. Take a look!

CosPlay at TGS 2009
Posted by Kiki Lewis in Conventions, I thought this was cool on September 28, 2009
One of my favorite things about the Tokyo Game Show is all the pictures from the cos-play. After rifling through a bunch of pics it looks like this year didn’t disapoint! Dude, think of how many hours were put into finding that perfect pose and how many posing jam sessions there were. Check out some of the pics at these sites:
Also, it appears there are written rules when taking pics of the cos players. One of the rules is just normal comon sense if you are not socially inept, asking permission.
- “Photography or filming near the ailes is prohibited.”
- “You must obtain persmission from the subject(s) before taking photographs or filming. Also, all photography and filming must be done with a wall in the background so as to avoid including other people in your shots.”
- “You will be asked to stop taking photographs or filming if staff judges it is causing inconvenience to others.”

PAX Taxi- Sir_lag
Posted by Dan Burch in A Slice of Us, BTG, I thought this was cool, PAX on September 5, 2009
Had a crazy ride with Sir_lag. Just a quick survey. Would you let your kid leave the country on his own to be picked up by a random stranger just to have a great story to tell?
