FL Studio – All Plugins $49.00!

Alright, so you may be wondering to yourself, “omgwtf” is Bogeh talking about, this has nothing to do with games or the game industry. Well let me tell you, you’re absolutely right! You may or may not know that I produce hip-hop/rap beats as a little side hobby. I’m definitely not a professional producer by any means, but I know I how to drop a hot beat, yeeeaaahhh! If you want to hear some samples, feel free to hit me up!
Anyways, the program I use, FL Studio, made by Image-Line, is having a sale on all of their plugins. Now I’ll give you a brief rundown of what this means. Plugins are essentially external sounds, players, editors, etc. for the default program. If you have never produced music before, I highly recommend that you download the free demo of FL Studio 9. If you like it, purchase it and add some plugins!
Not only do I use this program, but I’ve convinced Elite Effect to use it as well, even though he’s still running the demo version. So if you’re looking for some good plugins, here are the ones I recommend:
- Sytrus
- Edison WAV editor
- Soundfont Player

As confusing as that sound it makes sense when you add in the fact that every comic book fans nightmare has just came true. Disney has just purchased Marvel for four billion dollars! If any of you are like me you’ll see the worst case scenario first. Will gritty Marvel character be placed on the back burner. Will Wolverine start using his words instead of his claws. Oh I hope not.
Disney has in the past purchased companies and then butted into and feuded with the companies they purchased over where they think the companies image should go. There were past feuds with Pixar which laster for years, which I can’t understand because I simply can’t remember a Disney film that I enjoyed that was not done by Pixar. For Comic Book fans everywhere we implore you Disney don’t mess up Marvel characters.
Disney has this to say about the purchase:
“This transaction combines Marvel’s strong global brand and world-renowned library of characters including Iron Man, Spider-Man, X-Men, Captain America, Fantastic Four and Thor with Disney’s creative skills, unparalleled global portfolio of entertainment properties, and a business structure that maximizes the value of creative properties across multiple platforms and territories,” said Robert A. Iger, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company. “Ike Perlmutter and his team have done an impressive job of nurturing these properties and have created significant value. We are pleased to bring this talent and these great assets to Disney.”
Marvel’s take on it:
“Disney is the perfect home for Marvel’s fantastic library of characters given its proven ability to expand content creation and licensing businesses,” said Ike Perlmutter, Marvel’s Chief Executive Officer. “This is an unparalleled opportunity for Marvel to build upon its vibrant brand and character properties by accessing Disney’s tremendous global organization and infrastructure around the world.”
The one good news that’s been confirmed as of right now is that Perlmutter will be staying on to oversee ALL of Mavel’s properties.
Nintendo patents an inflatable horse controller?

According to an article by Mark Wilson from Gizmodo, Nintendo has a ridiculous new idea cooked up.
“While the illustration is strange, the thought of a family of four group-dry-humping a pile of cushions during their next game night is downright repulsive”
I can’t really imagine how this is going to work out, but it’s just as bizzare as their proposed Vitality Sensor in my opinion. We’ll see what the future holds for us gamers, but I like to envision a bunch of drunken gals having a Nintendo Rodeo night.

EA vs UFC for the Heavyweight Title
I’ve been wondering what the fallout was going to be when the rumor that Dana White had issued warnings to the managers of UFC fighters that if any of them signed with EA they would be forever banned from the UFC. Thanks to a friend of mine (PeeKnuckle) for linking me to this article. In it Dana White gives his side of the story with some compelling reasons behind why he did that. I also recently listened to this podcast featuring Tim Sylvia who is a former UFC veteran and title holder. In the podcast he comments on the EA game which he says that both him and Randy Couture have signed to be in.
