The mayor of Behemoth Town has announced that they are kicking it into top gear with their Necromantic DLC giveaway. Now is the time where you head over to the dev blog and find out how you can become a Necromantic DLC owner. They have around 2000 codes to give away, so there are plenty of chances to win. Not many companies take the time to do this on such a large scale so be sure to take advantage of it. I’ll give you head start…..follow them on twitter. Also you can check out our experience in the game. There’s a code at the end of it and I never recieved a message from anyone saying they got it. Who knows maybe it still works. Let us know if you get it.
Yesterday I had the chance to take the Behemoth’s Castle Crashers Necromantic DLC for a spin. Kiki, Echo, and I played for a few hours and here’s what we came up with. Kiki and I will be perusing over the Behemoth’s Necromantic DLC pack for Castle Crashers. We’ve got a code to give away for that in case you missed the one of the 5,000 that the Behemoth has been giving away. Today might also be a good day to check out their Dev Blog. We’ve been hearing some strange sounds coming from there and our curiosity is at an all time high. There’s also some hidden wallpaper from the Behemoth right here in this post. Stick around for our take on the Necromantic DLC pack and your chance at the code.
No idea how many people still play Castle Crashers, but this new DLC pack may give some an excuse to play it again. For 160MS points, the expansion pack will come with 2 new characters (Necromancer and the Cult Minion) and a new Dragonhead animal orb. Now before I stop there, don’t let me forget the two new weapons. The first weapon that Behemoth is adding is a Skull Mace. However, the second weapon that they are adding… are you ready for this?? A Chainsaw! Yes, you heard correctly. I am pretty sure that chainsaws didn’t exist during the time period the game is set in, but then again, I am pretty sure knights didn’t ride farting deer either.
Now I haven’t played the game for a long time, but I am temped to buy the DLC and try the game out again just for the chainsaw. If anyone is up for a game, you can let me know too.
For more information about the upcoming DLC, check out Behemoth’s Blog.
