Take The Reach Beta Out With A Bang
It’s a sad sad day folks. The date is May 19th, a day we’ve been dreading for weeks. The Reach Beta, it’s ending. Bungie decided today is the day. I’ve had so much fun in the beta. It was great! Even though I kept dying every few seconds in the first few games.
The new graphics are just totally awesome, they’re way better than Halo 3. Ohh, and somthing amazing is happening! you can now play Spartan vs Elite games. Now, these aren’t skins, not even close. The Elites are huge and make the Spartans look like mice. Elites’s shields also recharge faster. Now, lets talk about armor-lock. With armor-lock, you pick a class before you respawn, the classes have different abilities. My most used is probobally the shield. It’s extremely useful when you need to recharge your shields and an enemy is right next to you. When the shield runs out it also has a little shockwave to put some room between you and the enemy. One of the worst is the jetpack. It’s useful but in makes you a huge target and an easy kill when you’re flying around attempting to shoot people. Also, when the jetpack runs out and you fall about 50 feet onto concrete, well, you get the picture. Now, the new pistol is under rated, it’s better than you think. You’ll see what I mean. One last thing, the vehicles seem fragile, they get destroyed before you even know what’s going on.
So, let’s take Reach out with a bang. Ohh, and no team killing. Also, don’t be wierd and stalk one player and continue to shot them, I killed a teamate quite a few times for doing that. But really, no team killing no matter what. it’s not funny.
Wait, this just in, apperently the beta has been extended!!! Bungie has announced that the Reach beta will be extended till tommorow at 10:00 AM PST!!! Also, you know all those cool videos in theater, sorry those are going too. Unless you go all Halo 2 style and never turn off your Xbox 360.
