He’s Guybrush Threepwood, Mighty Pirate. Of course you already knew that…..maybe. Telltale Games and Lucas Arts have teamed up to bring you a new story of Guybrush Threepwood’s adventures on the high seas of the Caribbean. In keeping with the story of the 1990 PC game the Secret of Monkey Island, Telltale has created a new swashbuckling story that will take Guybrush through 5 chapters (or episodes) of adventure and danger. The Launch of the Screaming Narwhal is the first chapter in the monthly series that will have five total chapters. If you are a fan of the previous games you’ll be pleasantly surprised to see the humor and personality are intact as well as the nostalgic references to the previous games.

I won’t use a spoiler example, instead I’ll give you one that looks into the humor of the storytelling. When you are searching the island you come across a chest. Guybrush attempts to open it and he says he won’t be opening that in this episode. I WANNA KNOW WHAT IS IN THERE! Its name is the Chest of Foreshadowing which was kinda funny to me. Here’s a brief synopsis about the first episode.
